Cancellation and amendment by the client

Cancellations and amendments must be notified by e-mail, telephone or at the point of sale. The amendment will only become valid upon confirmation by Gstaad Ski School.
Possibly free of charge
In the case of refunds for services already paid for, Gstaad Ski School may pass on any additional costs incurred (e.g. bank charges) to the customer.
Not possible (the agreed total amount will be charged)
There shall be no entitlement to reimbursement in the event of illness or accident. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for this. This can be arranged directly with Gstaad Ski School at the time of booking.
Classes are generally held in all weather conditions. During rain or snowfall, there shall be no entitlement to a refund or compensation in the form of additional teaching time. As long as the lifts are in operation, this scenario cannot be insured either.
In the event of a late appearance to the lesson or premature termination of the lesson, there shall be no entitlement to a refund or compensation in the form of additional lesson time.

*The start of the booking always means the agreed meeting time on the first day of the entire service that has been booked

 

Cancellation and change by Gstaad Ski School

Gstaad Ski School reserves the right to change the agreed services if closed slopes or safety risks require this.
This risk is borne by the customer and there shall be no right to a refund, nor can a replacement be claimed.
Gstaad Ski School recommends that its customers take out cancellation costs insurance for this purpose. This can be arranged directly with Gstaad Ski School at the time of booking.
If the minimum group sizes communicated on the website are not reached, Gstaad Ski School reserves the right to combine individual levels or to cancel the class.
Should the lessons be cancelled, any payments made shall be refunded minus any services already utilised, whereby claims for compensation are excluded.
Combined groups (levels) do not entitle the customer to withdraw from the contract.

In connection with official closures (e.g. travel restrictions, quarantine, lock-downetc.), the agreed total price, less services already provided, shall be refunded.

Payment

The total booking price must be paid within the period indicated in the confirmation or invoice. Gstaad Ski School reserves the right to pass on the reserved place or to resell on the reserved instructor, respectively.
Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.Please send an e-mail to support@payyo.ch for all inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.

 

Liability

Participants in activities are not insured by the ski school. The Gstaad Ski School declines any liability for accidents and other incidents involving the participants and third parties, during or following the activities. All activities associated with snow sports instruction are carried out at your own risk. We recommend that participants take out accident and cancellation insurance.

 

Further conditions

Ski school tickets are not transferable.

We accept cash (CHF or Reka card) as well as all current credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Reka card and Postcard) as a means of payment.

The personal data you give us will be treated confidentially and will be used for internal purposes only. Gstaad Ski School reserves the right to take photographs during the activities

and to use these without paying any compensation. Personal details / photographs will be blocked or deleted on request. We comply fundamentally with the GDPR regulations of the EU.

Info PASSPROTECT

Gstaad Ski School recommends that its customers take out cancellation costs insurance. The PASSPROTECT insurance can be arranged directly with Gstaad Ski School at the time of booking.

 

  • CHF 4.00/day and person

  • The insurer guarantees the PASSPROTECT insurance holder, the reimbursement of the ski lessons, ski pass and rental equipment due to an inability to ski for one of the following reasons

    • accident or illness of the insured

    • accident, illness or death of a close relative of the insured, or of a person with whom the insured has strong emotional ties of a familial nature.

    • if, during a whole day, no more than 5 ski lifts are in operation in the area covered by the ski pass due to unfavourable weather conditions (stormy wind, risk of avalanche, heavy snowfall).
